About me

Having studied art at college, Ruby paused her creative endeavours to pursue a degree in History and dedicate her time to a career in the not-for-profit sphere. In the last few years she has returned to her passion: art.

 

Working in a range of media including traditional acrylics, watercolours, pen and ink, and ceramics as well as digital art, she is influenced by nature, folklore, couture fashion, weird history and pop culture, creating bespoke one-off pieces and collectable prints. She has also worked with arts groups and rock bands.

 

Ruby is currently collaborating with the Nottingham Shakespeare Company, for whom she is honing her skills in natural materials to create dramatic puppets and props.

 

In her day job she is a engagement professional, designing programmes and facilitating workshops to promote better wellbeing in the workplace so everyone can have more good days at work.
